The Avamere Nursing Collaborative (ANC) is aimed at reducing nursing stressors in the post-acute setting and improving well-being. A lack of peer-to-peer support and the need for clinical skills training were identified as the top stressors for nurses in skilled nursing facilities. The ANC will establish a culture of wellness by providing Oregon nurse leaders from 20 skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) with well-being learnings focused on creating peer support models and improved competency.
The expected result is a 20% improvement in outcomes evaluating skillset competency, peer-to-peer support, and job satisfaction via survey evaluation and assessment on an ongoing basis throughout the duration of the project. This project aligns with the goals of the RN-Well Being Project by supporting a healthy culture, enhancing soft and clinical skills, and improving the well-being of nurses in post-acute through stress reduction.
